care conference

When we arrived at the nicu for the conference Jeffrey was screaming like a banshe. He was ready to eat and took more than his minimum required. He has been taking 100% plus by bottle. his blood pressure has still been high so they are continually adjusting his meds to try and get it to a normal level. As long as he keeps gaining weight, stablizes his blood pressure, and doesn't develope any complications they will let him come home but he has to remain consistant for a few days without them adjusting anything. The Dr's are very optimistic about his long term outlook but still remain cautious. He is likely to have some longterm complications and we will have to be careful to keep him from developing major infections that could damage his kidneys further.
